The transition from the handle to the blade is uniquely tapered to increase comfort and control when pinch gripping the knife. The blade is precision laser cut. not stamped. from 8A Molybdenum steel. The edge is extremely sharp and expertly ground in Seki City. Japan for efficient cutting and blade strength. It includes a traditional natural wood saya cover that highlights the tones of the handle and offers the ultimate in blade protection while transporting or storing the knife.
